Electronic cigarette product introduction
How to choose your first electronic cigarette?
Step 1: Decide which type of e-cigarette to buy
There are many styles of e-cigarettes or vapors on the market, from mini models that look like traditional cigarettes to larger APV models used by longtime smokers.
Mini vape (Cig-A-Like): Mini or Cig-A-like models that look like tobacco cigarettes are very popular. They are small and lightweight. These models are a great option if you're just trying it out for the first time and want to get used to it.
Mid-Size vape (eGo): Medium cigars are smaller in size than cigars and last longer. They produce more vapor than mini models.
Mods/APVs: Advanced personal vaporizers (i.e. MODs) are designed with advanced e-cigarette smokers in mind because they produce significantly more vapor than medium and micro models. They are about the size of a flashlight.
Step 2: Choose an e-cigarette starter kit
The Vape Starter Kits include all materials, vaporizers, batteries and instructions for use. They are suitable for beginners and experienced smokers.
Decide if you want to use a prefilled or refillable nebulizer kit. When prefilled and disposable nebulizers run out of nicotine solution, they are thrown away. In contrast, refillable nebulizers need to be periodically refilled with nicotine solution.
Determine your budget, starter kits typically cost between $30 and $100.
Step 3: Ask e-cigarette retailers about vapor performance
Performance is generally understood to include vapor production, throat hit and battery life. To find the best e-cigarette for you, consider the following three factors.
Vapor production is simply the amount of vapor produced by the e-cigarette. If you're a light smoker, you should be happy with the low vapor production. If you are a heavy smoker, then you will need an e-cigarette with higher vapor production.
E-cigarettes attempt to mimic the burning sensation caused by smoking. The term throat hit is a way of describing this quality in e-cigarettes, which can be weak or strong depending on the model.
If you are a heavy (long-term) smoker, or are out and about a lot, then you may want to consider how long the battery will last on your e-cigarette.
Step 4: Ask the retailer if the e-cigarette has a warranty
Some e-cigarettes and starter kits come with a warranty, which is helpful if any of the devices are not working properly. It's also important to shop at reputable retailers so you can get accurate product and warranty information.
Step 5: Research the quality of the e-cigarette brands to start with
The vaping industry is competitive and fast-moving, so it's wise to do some research on existing brands and products. Check out the reputation of the vapor brand you're considering and the quality of its products.
Check out e-cigarette review sites. There are various websites posting reviews of new vaping brands. You should be familiar with reviews of popular brands and new ones.
Try their disposable e-cigarettes first to compare different brands. Small, disposable e-cigarettes are cheaper than starter kits. You can compare the quality of different brands of disposable e-cigarettes by testing them.
Step 6: When purchasing electronic cigarettes, please look for the product serial number.
The serial number of the original e-cigarette is located on the connector parts of the atomizer and battery, while the counterfeit e-cigarette has no serial number. Look carefully when you buy, and if you can't see it, use a magnifying glass to find these serial numbers.
